Wedding pastry is a traditional delicacy for the Chinese Matrimony. Today, buying and giving wedding pastry is still a practice among the pre-wed couples. During the "Guo Da Li" ceremony, wedding pastry - the Chinese wedding etiquette gift, is given to the bride-to-be by the groom-to-be as a return for the dowry he receives. It is also considered as a dowry gift to the lady, to be distributed to her relatives and friends with the intention to "spread the happy news and share the joy".
In ancient times, the concept of giving wedding pastry was first introduced during the Three Kingdom Era. It is related to Zhuge Liang who presented a strategy for Liu Bei "to borrow" Jingzhou" from Sun Quan. In order to retrieve Jingzhou, Sun Quan made pretence for Liu Bei to marry his sister. Knowing the trick, Zhuge Liang decided to materialise the plot by asking the pastry chef to make 10,000 pieces of dragon, phoenix pastry to be distributed to every household in Nanxu City. Thus, it was made known to everyone in regard to Liu Bei's marriage. Since then, wedding pastry gift has been handed down traditionally with the intention of spreading joy and symbolising a beautiful , harmonious marriage. It also serves as a thank-you gesture to the invited guests.

- Our wedding pastries are all authentic traditional handmade pastries.
- Especially our Sesame Puffs & Rice Puffs are Crispy outside, soft inside, with a delightful "chacha" sound when bitten. Most importantly, they are not overly sweet as they are not soaked in excessive syrup. Just the right amount of sweetness ensures a pleasant taste without being cloying or too firm, making them a delightful treat for all ages especially for elders.
- Non-sticky and enjoyable bite after bite, with just the right amount of sweetness.
- Most of our products are made from plant-based ingredients. However, some items are lightly brushed with egg wash during preparation to enhance their taste and appearance, making them ideal for Lacto-Ovo Vegetarians.

Wedding Pastries Can Last for How Long？
Our products are free from any preservatives so you can consume with a peace of mind. Thus we recommend consuming our products as soon as possible for the best quality.
Different wedding pastries, having different shelf life :
Products like Rice puff, Sesame puff, peanut candy and sesame candy have a shelf life of 2 months. However, for optimal crispness, we recommend consuming them within 14 days.
Teow Chew Sesame Peanut Soft Candy ( 鸭颈糖 ), Teochew Sesame Soft Candy ( 明糖 ), and Gong Candy ( 贡糖 ) have a shelf life of 1 month. However, for optimal crispness, we recommend consuming them within 14 days.
Wedding Pastry of JiaNvBing （嫁女饼）, valid for 7 days, best consumed within 4 -5days as no preservative added.
The "Lao Gong Bing" and "Lao Po Bing" have a shelf life of 7 days. However, if you prefer them to be crispy, it is recommended to consume them within the first four to five days for the best texture and taste.
Walnut Cookies have a shelf life of 1 month. However, for optimal crispness, we recommend consuming them within 14 days.
"Joyful Noodles" has a shelf life of 3 months.
Do note that we will not be held responsible for any illnesses resulting from irresponsible consumption of our products past its recommended due date.
How do I store my pastries?
Our pastries should ideally be stored at room temperature in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight or heat sources, for a period of 2-3 days. However, if you plan to store them for a longer duration or if the ambient temperature is warm, it is recommended to refrigerate them for optimal freshness.
Do you provide delivery service?
Yes! For your convenience, we provide Peninsular Malaysia delivery services! Delivery fee may vary depending on the delivery address. On wet weather days, due to safety reasons, delivery may be delayed. We seek your understanding in this matter.
